Widget Embedding Guide

Add real‑time local illness trends to your website in seconds.

Overview

The Germwatch widget allows councils, GP practices, schools, pharmacies, and community organisations to display real‑time local illness trends directly on their websites.

It is:

  • Anonymous - no personal data collected
  • Lightweight - loads fast on any device
  • Automatic - updates as new reports come in
  • Free to embed - no contract required

How to Install the Widget

Copy and paste the following code snippet into your website’s HTML, ideally just before the closing </body> tag.

<script src="https://germwatch.co.uk/widget.js" data-location="auto"></script>

This will automatically detect the visitor’s region and display the correct local illness trends.
